Enjoy your city tour including visit of Chauktatgyi; the biggest colossal reclining Buddha image in Myanmar. Next stop will be at the great golden Shwedagon Pagoda; it is the prominent landmark visible from miles around, where the holy hair relics of the Buddha were enshrined more than 2,500 years ago. Then you will spend the rest by walking in Yangon’s bustling China-town, it is a showcase of culture, enterprise & amazement of generations of visitor.

Afternoon We will drive to Central Post Office, starting walking along the Strand road to the landmark Strand Hotel, looking at Pansodan Jetty observing busy life on Yangon River. Then continuing walking to see the most impressive colonial buildings until arrive at Mahabandoola road taking your vehicle to visit the excellent landmark of Sule Pagoda, nearby the City Hall where you can take pictures from outside since it is not allowed for touring to go inside. Ending at Botataung Pagoda; sorting of mirrored maze inside the pagoda with glass show-cases containing many ancient relics and artifacts which were sealed inside the earlier pagoda.


BAG-01: EXCURSION TO BAGO

Leaving in the early morning, stop briefly at the Htaukyant Allied War Memorial. Then proceeding directly to Bago and arriving in the mid-morning. In Bago, you will visit Hinthagon hill-top, and take a short walk to Shwemawdaw Pagoda ( Myanmar’s tallest). On the way seeing the Moat and Gate-way to the 16th Century city of Hanthawadd and continue by car to visit Bago’s colourful market, Shwethalyuang; reclining Buddha, Mahazedi Pagoda and a traditional cheroot making factory. Then we will return to Yangon in the late afternoon via Kyaikpun Pagoda. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.

Discovery the colourful local market of Nyaung U where you can see fresh vegetables, fish, meat, all sort of beans, household and kitchen wares. Next stop will visit Htilominlo Temple; it is one of the largest temples of Bagan; and is noted for its fine plaster carvings. There are the remains of fine murals on the interior walls. Sulamani Temple; it is one of Bagan's premier temple attractions. Important features of the Sulamani include its fine brickwork and use of stone in both load-bearing areas as well as on vulnerable external corner elements. The interior was once painted with fine frescoes but only dim traces can be seen today. Dhammayangyi Temple; it is Bagan’s most massive shrine. The temple remains one of the most unique and intriguing constructs on the Bagan plain. After lunch at local restaurant, you will continue to visit Bagan Archaeological Museum; it has a collection of more than 2000 items including Buddha statues, stucco pieces, terra-cotta cups and pots. Then we will proceed you to Tharaba Gateway; The ruins of the main gate on the east wall are all that remain of the old 9th century city. The gate is guarded by brother and sister angels, finding brother in the left, and the sister in the right. Shinbinthalyaung; The temple itself is not very distinguished, but it houses the Buddha in Bagan. The Buddha is in the position of Parinibbana, the Decease, lying on his right side, his cheek resting on his right hand. End of the trip at Shwesandaw Pagoda before returning to the hotel; the pagoda bell rises from two octagonal bases, which top the five square terraces. The upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda has become a popular sunset-viewing spot. The horse carriage will be waiting for you in front of Shwesandaw Pagoda to drive back to your hotel during sunset.

Enjoy your city tour to visit Mahar Myat Muni Pagoda; it is said this Buddha image infect is over a millennium old. Buddhists believe that this heavily gilded Maha Muni Buddha is a representation of Buddha, and highly regarded. Shwe In Bin Monastery; built in traditional Burmese fashion is one of the few buildings that have survived the test of time and constructed in 1895 by Chinese merchants, the monastery consists of many impressive woodcarvings and also contains a number of admirable works of art. Then morning stop at Zecho market where much of the locals' time is spent shopping for everything from fresh fruit & vegetables to everyday household items. After lunch at local restaurant, you will continue to visit Shwenandaw Monastery; it is a wonderfully fragile yet grand example of 19th century Myanmar teak architecture and also a significant masterpiece of the wood-carver’s art. Sandamuni Pagoda; it was erected on the location of King Mindons provisional palace. The Paya is also famous for the Iron Buddha Sandamani cast. Kuthodaw Pagoda; the Buddhist bible in stone-inscription version tells all the teachings of Buddha. There are 729 pieces of marble stones, each of which is housed by temples. Mandalay Hill; it is located outside the North of downtown which summit is 230 m above the surrounding plain is the natural watch-tower for the visitors to watch sunrise or sunset over the city plains.


INL-01: INLE LAKE

Morning, you will visit Ywama Village; it is the largest village on the Inle Lake. There is some beautiful teak houses built on large wooden poles driven into the Lake bed. The main activity and attraction is at the floating market in the largest canal. The magnificent floating market is renowned. You can visit the goldsmith workshops observing the sculpture and umbrella industries. Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery; this is an attractive wooden monastery built on stilts over the lake. Aside from its collection of Buddha images, the monastery may be of interest to visit because its monks have taught a few of the many cats living with them to jump through hoops. Lunch at local restaurant.

enjoy your boat tour on western bank of Inle Lake seeing Indein Village and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds wooden columns and finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pagoda. The pagoda and stupas built in the 8th century and rows of shops are famous. Trekking enthusiasts can climb up Mt. Shwe U Daung, 3000 ft above sea level, in 90 minutes. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. Then we will continue your boat tour to visiting of Phaungdaw U Pagoda, one of the famous principal shrines in Myanmar. This pagoda houses five small Buddha images, which are much revered by the lake-dwellers.
